This park has been well maintained over the years. Great place to hike and skip rocks!
Coolest park around! There is an unimproved path along the river to get over a hill which leads to an easy to climb waterfall. I have three young boys and they absolutely love going there. And, there is sledding in the winter!
This is a great Snow Hill to go sledding or practice snowboarding on! There are built in steps to make it easier to get back up the hill as well as benches at the top of the hill and even a street light for sledding fun after Dark. Park rangers sometimes have a fire going in a fire pit way down at the bottom of the hill. The parking lot is always nicely snow plowed.
Great park, minus the constant gun shots in the distance. This is the biggest problems with Lake Metroparks, great parks but surrounding areas always have gunfire, taking away from the scenic peacefulness of the parks. Be sure to go find the waterfall if you go here, well worth a search!
