The shop wasn't very clean. There was so much pressure to buy their products that I bought clarifying shampoo just to stop the lady from showing me something else and something else and something else...... I absolutely did not need the clarifying shampoo! Good thing I found someone else that uses that and sold it to them.
I used to love going here for a hair cut because of the great people and good pricing. Just went and the person went so fast they scratched my head with their comb. It was a basic cut so they didn't screw up horribly like for some others here, but if I see her again I'll walk out. Attempts at small talk on her end but didn't even pay attention to my responses, focus on the hair cut and be gentle, its not a damn race.
This is the only place my husband will get his hair cut. He has a pretty basic cut and the price is right for him. When my hair was all one length/blunt cut, I used this salon. I've since gotten a really shortcut and don't feel confident they could pull it off. I think for basic cuts, Famous Hair is fine. Anything more intricate, don't risk it.
